List of scholarship recipients from PSC 2011 Press Release
Students at Potomac State College of West Virginia University (WVU) were awarded the following scholarships.
Erin McGee of Purgitsville and graduate of Bishop Walsh Middle-High School in Cumberland, Md., is a recipient of the Potomac State College of WVU Rhododendron Scholarship. She is a pre-veterinary medicine major and the daughter of Randy and Teresa McGee.
Derrik Grimm, a pre dentistry major, is a recipient of the Potomac State College of WVU Rhododendron Scholarship as well as the Dr. Bruce O. Snider Endowed Scholarship. Grimm is a graduate of Frankfort High School and the son of Lynn and Tom Grimm.
Three PSC students were awarded the Potomac State College of WVU Catamount Scholarship; they are Levi Davis, Chelsea Brotemarkle, and Jessica Cessna.
Davis is from Manns Choice, Pa. and is majoring in wildlife resources. He is a graduate of Chestnut Ridge Senior High School and the son of Earl and Bonnie Davis.
Brotemarkle , a resident of Frostburg Md., is a pre-veterinary medicine major and graduate of Fort Hill High School. She is the daughter of Tracey Brotemarkle.
Cessna is from Clearville, Pa. and is majoring in equine production and management. She is a graduate of Fort Hill High School and is the daughter of Bruce Cessna and Missy Dolly.
Four PSC Students were awarded the Potomac State College of WVU Blue & Gold Level 2 Scholarship. They are Jamie Dively, Christen Beahm, Kelsie Bennett, and Katlyn Taylor.
Dively, a pre-veterinary medicine major, is from Hyndman, Pa. and a graduate of Hyndman Middle-Senior High School. She is the Daughter of Jay and Karen Dively.
Beahm is from Edinburg, Va. and a graduate of Central High School. She is an equine production and management major and the daughter of David and Sherrill Beahm.
Bennette is a pre-medicine major and a graduate of Bishop Walsh Middle/High School in her hometown of Cumberland, Md. She is the daughter of Terri Hast and Barry Bennett.
Taylor is a pre-pharmacy major from Cumberland, Md. She is a graduate of Bishop Walsh Middle/High School and the daughter of Michael Taylor and Leigh Hull.
